| EEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!! WOW! Awesome!!!!! I cannot believe you can do such an amazing job on the brows and lips!! I would think the brows are a real pain! It is too late for me to go look for names tonight. I will try in the morning. So she will be a fairy? Pixie? Elf? Just to help narrow down the places to look for names. Congrats on your gorgeous new girl!! _________________ Let's make the most of our time, as long as we're here...

| Thanks! Glad you approve! Hubby helped me map out where to put the brows and gave me feedback when I started filling them in to help make them even. He did the black eyeliner inside and around the rim of the eyes. The lips came out a bit more pronounced and bolder than I intended, but I wanted something a little different than what is already out there. I am not entirely happy with the lower lashes, so may do some more work on them. I don't know what color wig is going to look good, but I am thinking warm tones. I had originally pictured blue hair, but now I am rethinking that. Well, I don't think she will be a fairy or pixie so I guess an elf, part of the wood elf clan I have. :) |

| Cool! I will look up elf names. Hubby is great for helping out. I love the blushing too! The lips are gorgeous! Oh I don't know, blue hair might be really neat! _________________ Let's make the most of our time, as long as we're here...

| Eeek! I have returned from my mountain riding trip! Great fun, but it is 100+ here now so feels great to be in the A/C! I posted some shots on DOA to get some feedback on the face-up and a really nice gal gave some excellent tips on blending the edges of the eyeshadow, angleing the lines on the brows more, and changing the lower eyelashes. Hubby is working on the changes now... gah, I love him! Will take a new photo when I can get the eyes puttied in. The body will be mailed out tomorrow from Arizona, so won't have it until the end of the week I bet. I cannot decide what wig to get! Help! Maybe that will help with names too! JPOP is having a 40% off sale btw-you probably knew that already though! |

| Oops! Sorry! I forgot about looking for names today. I have been busy with housework and cooking. Plus I got a new file folder and reorganized my folks bills and things. Also, I have been in a blue funk today. Missing Dad, missing the boys. They both went out early with friends and didn't come home for dinner. They said "maybe" they would try to make it, but neither came home The table was all set pretty for 4 and there was just the two of us. We said we are starting to feel like empty nesters already. Plus, the kids go back to school Weds. and that always makes me sad. I will miss all my summer daycare kids so much and it was fun having my boys home sleeping in and visiting a bit before they went out on their day. Just.feeling.blue.... Anyway - back to doll stuff! I love the second wig on her best! They are both really pretty though. Very cool that a gal at DOA is helping you out with some tips. You are so lucky to have an artistic hubby who enjoys this hobby! I think this girl is going to be just amazing when you are all done! I bet you have your body by Thursday! I remember getting an email about 40% on JPOP wigs, but when I went to the site most of the ones I really liked didn't seen to be on sale. I will check it out again, though I am not really looking for a wig right now. I think in about a week I will contact Nancie to make the Good Witch dress. That will be my last doll splurge until Xmas I am afraid. Well, got to get a couple more things done before dark. I am so upset - I was out last night and my feet and ankles got eaten alive! I have been an itchy mess all day I am covered in Gold Bond right now! I look oh so pretty _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| Sorry you are blue today my lady! That empty nesting stuff can be rough-and of course missing a loved one. Some of my sister-in-laws have been really struggling with the empty nest business. All I can say is...they are'nt gone yet! The DES girl is a total blonde! Something about the eyes, the face-up and the coloring make her look the best as a blonde. She really has an Alice vibe now that I changed her eyebrows, lashes etc! I really adore her because she is so different than all my other dolls! I think I will pick up the second wig though because it has bangs and is so unusual...the first one is sold out anyway. Well, better go clean up the doll customizing mess before hubby makes it home with dinner! Yes, we are going for an easy meal tonight! Rotisserie chicken from the grocery store! It looks like it has been really quiet around here today. People are out enjoying their Sunday I guess! TTYL! |

| Well I took advantage of the JPOP wig sale and got the second one and a dark chocolate and red curly one... the color of the Helene wig looks spectacular on this girl too, so had to give her a reddish wig too. So she will have 4 personas so far...the long blonde Alice, The curly chocolate/red, the white/peach with bangs, and the brown two toned fur wig! Man I want that body and eye putty now so bad!

| Oh here is a link to some of the DZ photostory contest entries that have been posted over at DOA...there are some really good ones! That merman one really should win something...some people did almost poetry type commentaries which to me is not really a "story", should be interesting to see which ones DZ likes! They are going to have a difficult decision I think! http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236957 |

| WOW! Some of those are really good! I still like yours the best! Cool pix and story and not so cluttered. The mermaid one has good pix and story, but I don't care for the layout. Actually after yours my fave is the little girl planting. The last pic of the little girl is just totally adorable! GOOD LUCK to you my friend!! You should be so proud of yourself!! Cool on getting so many wigs!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ Let's make the most of our time, as long as we're here...

| Thanks, but I think you are biased! They emailed me back from DZ, they got my entry! Seriously doubt I will win anything, but you never know. Well, better run to the grocery store and the fruit stand before the after work rush crowd gets out and about. I forgot to mention I am off today because I have to work Saturday... TTYL! |

| Cool that you got a Monday off!! Bad that you have to work on a Saturday Hope you have enjoyed the day!! I pass a really nice farmer with a great veggie stand right down the road from us. Great corn. He has watermelon too. But mostly he is known for his sweet corn. We have a town Farmers Market every Saturday in the elementary school parking lot all summer. We don't go that much though. I am spoiled having the new Jewel so close to my house. I just barely leave our neighborhood and I am there. So I usually grab all my stuff there. I know we should hit the farmers market more than we do - just to support the locals, but we tend to be too lazy to get out early on Saturday. Biased?? Moi?? Never Seriously, I really do like yours the best. I also really love the little planting girlie. Too sweet and I am a sucker for anything with wee ones. I am so glad you got confirmation that your entry was received! What a relief that is!!!!!!!! Enjoy the rest of your day off!! _________________ "You can kinda just be. | Our fruit and veggie stands are so much cheaper than at the store and the produce is so much better. I go there once a week to get fresh corn, peaches, tomatoes, berries, and whatever else looks good. Today I got 2 large containers of the biggest blueberries ever, corn, peaches, garlic, yellow squash, tomatoes, and lemon cukes for $7.00!!!! Well, I worked with one of the horses, went to the store and fruit stand, washed the bedding, weeded and pruned the perennial garden, visited here and there, and that is about it! Now it is on to make dinner and then get on the eliptical for 30 minutes or so! Speaking of entries to the contest...check this out! It is only the trailer! Jeesh! http://coolancelot.livejournal.com/16767.html |
