| Whoa! A little Steven Speilberg in the making Oh well I suppose it will be really good. So far the pix in the trailer were not all that interesting. The dolls were lovely though. WOW! $7!! That is great! I just got a really large container of blueberries at Meijer for $4 and I was thrilled with that! Sounds like quite the productive day for you! I am thrilled right now! I just won 24 Wilton pastel silicone baking cups from ebay. The pastels are so hard to come buy. When I find them they are about $10 per doz. I just won the two dozen for $12. I have no idea why you can not get the pastel sets in the stores here. I can only get the primary colors. I really wanted the pastels for birthday parties and Easter. I have enough red and green ones for Xmas. I just found a Candy Apple cupcake recipe that I want to do for the Halloween daycare party and I would love to find some orange and black silcone baking cups. So far no luck. Maybe in the fall they will show up somewhere. I just love the things! _________________ Let's make the most of our time, as long as we're here...

| I bet those kiddies love coming to Auntie Deb's the cupcake queen! I know I would! And you will have all your dollies dressed up for Halloween this year! Right? I never did contact that gal who makes the cool goodreau clothes...just too many other doll expenses going on almost daily it seems! Good thing hubby thinks my hobby is cute and he enjoys doing the doll face-ups too! My body was shipped today...for twelve dollars and some change for shipping...I am hoping it makes it here before the weekend! |

| Cupcake Queen and the Muffin Maven! YAY for the body being on it's merry way to you!! Safe travels dear body! Well, as soon as I get the Glinda dress ordered I will have them all set for Halloween. I think I will order it in September. Have to space it out from my make-up, book and baking spending spree See, my hubby does not partake in the doll hobby so sadly he doesn't get excited about my spending darn it!! I will be sure and "Halloweenize" the table they are on too! My MIL has a collection of lions because she is a Leo. I think I will ask to borrow one of her lions to be on the table with my "Dorothy and Glinda". I have a scarecrow that would work too. No Tin Man though. Well, this is the last day of my summer kids. Some ended yesterday. I am feeling all weepy Justin goes back to school tomorrow to begin his senior year. For the first time ever he is excited to go back to school. He has taken all his required for graduation subjects except for one last math class. The rest of his classes all year are electives. He is going to be in 3 art courses first semester so he is looking forward to fun classes. Tomorrow I take him for his follow-up with the orthopedic doc. I am going to ask him if it is OK for Justin to take gym or if he thinks it is best he doesn't take it due to HNPP. Justin's hand is almost completely back to normal mobility!!! He has some feeling back too! I am really happy about that! No surgery needed! What a relief!! Well, have a great day and talk to you later! _________________ "You can kinda just be. | Yay that Justin's hand has recovered and no surgery is needed! That is just the excellent news you need! Yes, you are going to have a spectacular doll Halloween display this year! That is for sure! Maybe you can keep them in their special costumes through Christmas, just change the tablecloth backdrop! I can't wait to see your Glinda costume! That is going to be spec tacular I bet! Yes, my hubby probably isn't going to be too crazy about our credit card bill this month...I really have to slow it down on the doll spending because I need a new purse and work clothes this fall...and lately the dolls have won out on getting new stuff vs. me. That has to change eventually! Don't you have any of these summer kids occasionally after school or do they all just go home or go to latchkey programs during the school year? Got the eye putty, lashes, and shoes I ordered. I will take some more pictures of the improved face-up when I get the body and the wigs, hopefully later this week. It has cooled down here into the mid 70's-low 80's! Perfect riding weather! I am taking Vena and the dog out tonight so will stop back much later! |

| Crap! I just lost my long post!!! Yes, I am thrilled about Justin's Ulnar Nerve getting "untrapped " on it's own! I wish the feeling would totally come back, but I am remaining hopeful that it will soon. I plan to ask lots of questions tomorrow. I hope I like the answers! I will be sure to make sure I order the Glinda dress in time. I just need to wait a few more weeks. I go in spurts of buying things for me and buying things for the dolls. Lately I have been buying lots of minerals, books and things for baking. Next I want a silicone basting brush. I am going to look for one tomorrow after Justin and I get out of the doctor's appointment. I really hate trying to properly clean and dry regular basting brushes. Xmas? Oh I so wish I could dress all 4 of them all fancy and festive, but there is no way I can afford 4 new outfits for them. Maybe I can slowly add to their wardrobe during the year and by Xmas 2009 I might have some fancy duds for them. I look forward to more pix of your new girl! We have been really warm - mid to upper 80s and that will continue for several days. We did get a surprise downpour this afternoon - which was much needed and cooled things off a wee bit. Hope you are enjoying your ride! TTYL~ ETA: About the daycare kids: I will see 3 of the 6 when I visit their moms who are good friends of mine. The other 3 I probably won't see until the holidays. Here the elementary school kids get dropped off at 4:15. The 3 moms of the kids who I won't have during the school year get home from work at 4:00 - so they do not need me during the school year - except sometimes when there is no school. _________________ "You can kinda just be. | Well, got the two wigs for the new girl (must figure out a name!) They are both just perfect for her!!!!!! Score! As I was putting lashes on her and putting her eyes in with the putty I got, part of the face-up above her eye flaked off! I was just sick about it because I was beyond pleased with the latest changes we made and was so happy to just be able to be done with the face and start putting her together while I waited for her body...gah I hope it is here tomorrow! Anyway, we have to try and do damage control and fix the area that the eye make-up flaked off...I learned my lesson to not add to heavy coats of sealant on the final face-up before I do anything. I did'nt have this happen with my AOD Chi... I guess every manufactuer's resin is a big different. *bad words galore* Hope you had a good day and that the doctor's appointment went ok! |

| Oh NOZ!!!!!!!!!! I am so sorry that happened That would be my luck. This is why I could never do my own face-up (well, besides the fact that I have no artistic talent) I just know I would screw things up and I would freak the hell out!! You guys will get it all worked out though. Better than ever I bet! It's just disappointing to have a setback I know. So glad the wigs worked out though. Grace got them to you in good time! I will post the info about Justin in the "Tell Us What's New" thread. We are talking about the doll stuff in two seperate threads. Lets put the chatting about dolls in "Doll Addiction" and put pix in the "doll pix" thread. I made the "doll pix" thread for when we just take pix in case others just want to look at the pix but not read the convos. I do plan to get back to taking pix at some point soon when other things settle down a bit. _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| OK will do! That makes sense! Well, we fixed it!!!!!!!! I am so pleased! I just put one coat of sealant on tonight and then will put another on to make sure everything stays put! |

| Ok, I have been trying to post photos of my girl over here all night! Would'nt you know there would be a bloody problem! Oy.... Well, I posted a bunch of photos on Flickr and a thread on DOA because I just had to... But, I want to have some photos to share here too so here it goes... May I present Esme...she told me her name today when her body arrived. She has tons of attitude it turns out! Love this girl to pieces! So worth the wait, the work, the time... everything! She is smaller than my other girls, so of course most of my other clothes do not fit her very well..palm to head! |

| YAY! She is complete!!! She is awesome!! I LOVE the name!! You aren't kidding she has attitude!! Bunches of it!! You guys did a great job with her! So proud of you! Bummer about the clothes Clothes for these dolls are so dang expensive too. This board was down last night. Not just us but other boards that have the same host (or whatever you call it) like WW. I checked to make sure it wasn't just us. I'll be gone most of the day. I have to take mom to the heart doctor and run her on some errands. I have to get some more school supplies for Justin's SENIOR YEAR!! and groceries for the weekend. Eric starts his sophomore year of college on Monday! Oh lordy! My babies are so BIG! _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| Thank you so much Aerwin and FC! I am a little proud of her...as if you could'nt tell! The clothes deal is a bummer for sure...this is all I have other than that black crushed velvet witch number that really fits Esme well. I think she needs some color...so by golly she will have it! Hope you all had a good day. It is so beautiful here right now, it feels like Indian Summer...I must go ride tonight since I had to stay and play with my doll last night and have to work tomorrow. Will stop by later to chat! |

| Yes, be sure and get Esme LOTS of colorful clothes!! It was warm and humid today. But it didn't storm (which was predicted) and Mom and I were running all over the place so I was thrilled to just deal with warm and humid and NO storms! _________________ "You can kinda just be.
