Yes, she is a skinny little thing! Poor dear! I can't even imagine I did get Maurelle a Teen Trends outfit. I won it on eBay for $1.25. It is an outfit I have seen on a Mei and the shoes fit too. I thought for $1.25 I would get it. Even with shipping it was about $5.

Yes, they almost look like child dolls. I wouldn't mind a child doll some day, but not that size or price. If I ever get a child doll I want it to look like a little brother or sister of one of my other dolls - or a child of one of my couples.

Was the teen trends a fairy outfit? I have seen some really cute teen trend fairy clothes that would sure be cute on Maurelle.

I have not seen any teen trend fairy clothes. Here is the outfit I got. I got it because I thought the green ruffle part and the top might work with other pieces. Also, I read that the shoes fit perfect. For the price it was worth it to get something I know will fit her when she arrives so that she is not nekkie. Some posters at DOA have this outfit and I saw pix somewhere of Mei's in Teen Trend. Sadly, there is not a whole lot to choose from.

I know that the "Friends to be Made" line has some fairy outfits. I looked at them. But I have read that FTBM clothes are hit and miss with fitting the Resin Soul girls.

The Friends To Be Made dolls are kinda plump and plush and I really don't get how any of the pieces fit - but I guess some do.

A lady in the DDE Yahoo group just got her Ju and man she is beautiful!! Her green eyes are gorgeous and the gal made her Song an awesome fur wig!! I tell ya this line of elf dolls is just so excellent!! I am keeping Ju on my list for the future! They need another elf boy!

I think you will be able to buy a fur wig like that. Beachgirlnikita on ebay sells shorter fur wigs like that.

Ju is very pretty too. To me she is so similar to Mei and Song (especially!) Her face is a tad narrower and that is about it. She could be Song's twin sister!

Millie made her Song's wig with some Tibetan Lamb fur pelt that she still had from another project.

Millie did say that Ju's extra long ears cause some problems with wigs.

I don't know, I see a difference between Song and Ju. Obviously the ears and more narrow face, but something about her eyes are different too. I actually think Mei looks more like Song than Ju does I guess when I have them both here in person I will know better.

I like Ju's narrow face and her eyes being a little farther apart, or so they seem in pix. I think it might be fun to have an elf with the super long ears.

ON NOZ!!! Good news/bad news! Paula got my Mei in today! She is shipping her out tomorrow!

Oh lordy! It was suppose to take about 10 weeks! Now is way too soon for my birthday! How ever will I explain this to hubby We didn't think we would need to pay the balance for her for about two months OOPS! I better find a way to ease into telling him about this

I do like the Ju from Junky Spot too. I think the big giant ears are cool. I bet wigs are a challenge though. Some people say they have to cut slits in the cap or something. Heck whatever works!

Well, I don't know about that. I may be hiding her from hubby until after Xmas! She is coming UPS and they do not deliver on Saturdays so hopefully I will be able to snatch her from the front porch and hide her in the closet! I told him I was getting a Mei for my birthday but I did not tell him I ordered her. I figured I'd tell him in about 10 weeks when she was on her way Oh well - it is what it is! I will admit I am tickled pink that I will see her in a few days to a week.

I bet you are right and Paula rushed it for Xmas - which is so nice of her of course, but she did say about 10 weeks so maybe she didn't think they would arrive that soon but was crossing her fingers. She would probably rather have her customers pleasantly surprised than disappointed. I should have waited, but after waiting 3 months for Milo I just figured it would be fine to order her now thinking she would arrive in Feb or early March.

Don't worry, I will put in her eyelashes and a wig on and take pix so you can see her before she goes into the closet for her loooooooooooooog winter sleep!
