Wow! That is a lot of candy to buy! And lots of waiting by the door to give it! I bet you enjoy seeing all the cute kiddies in their Halloween costumes though! Our pond is not anything decorative, it is just a plastic liner where we collect other people's runoff irrigation water that diverts through our property. We use it to water the shrubs that are along our fence line and will use it to water the trees in our tree farm we are going to re-start this spring.

I do enjoy seeing all the kids! All my current and past daycare kids from this neighborhood are coming!

I am totally smitten with this new limited doll! They are taking pre-orders at JPOP. There will only be 50 of them. She is MSD size. What I don't get is there is not price where you pre-order. But she is just totally adorable!!

HL - the email just said that she was "Kaye Wiggs Annabelle" limited to 50 and you are suppose to email Grace at JPOP to be put on a list. I think I will email her and ask the price. What can it hurt??

I wonder why they don't mention the price or what it is going to be? That is kind of weird. Why would you get on a list for buying one if you don't know the price?

I KNOW!! AND - if you go to JPOP it says "enter your price"? How 'bout I enter $10 I just don't get it. I found a site that talks about Kaye Wiggs and Annabella and that site doesn't mention the price either. Just that Kaye just does the heads and another company does the body. I still feel like writing to Grace and asking for more info.

How was your Halloween?? Trick-or-Treating ended here a little while ago and as most times we have lots of candy left. I put Eric's faves on his laptop along with a taffy apple I got him and I put Justin's faves on his drafting table along with his taffy apple! Happy Halloween to them! I stuck Rob with the leftover Whoppers and I am getting the Almond Joys! (and a few Hershey bars too - don't tell)

Halloween is a big pizza night so both Eric and Justin are working and getting tips instead of treats!

Well, so far a relaxing and quiet Halloween. I got home about 5:00, then just have been taking it easy and threw together some pasta for dinner. We have been watching various ghost shows and maybe will watch a scary movie if there is a good one on. I did'nt buy any candy of course which works well for us. I did go to a little party last night at one of the neonatologist's house that I work with. I made a chocolate pear upside down cake and they are from Pakistan and made Shrimp kabobs, and tandoori chicken to die for. We had a good time.

About the price question on those dolls. It almost seems like they are setting it up to be an auction or something, but it is really unclear. Sometimes the way these dolls are marketed is so frustrating! Would you go for the elf or the regular? It would be nice if they showed the body they are offering with it too.

I did see the tiny babies DZ is offering! They are cool! So realistic! Sometimes DZ offers the best Christmas incentives.

Sounds like you had a great Halloween! Chocolate pear upside down cake sounds amazing! I will look up a recipe for that!! My mom makes me a pineapple upside down cake for my birthday every year and I LOVE IT!

I was thinking it was an auction thing and I don't want any part of that. I'm not going to enter a bidding war for a doll I know nothing about. Can't see the body and no real life pix. I honestly don't know which direction I am going to go in with future dolls. I tell ya I wouldn't mind getting a Dollzone just to get a baby!! I just wish Impldoll would release their Baby dolls. I'm starting to thing that won't happen in time for Xmas.

I kind of figured the Jpop doll was going to be very high. The gal that makes the heads does'nt do very many, and once you get into the limited doll category it tends to make the price go up into the unreasonable zone. 500.00 for an MSD without some fantastic outfit, face-up, wig, eyes and the works is definitely on the high side. They still don't say she comes with anything but a body. Maybe for that price they include a face-up... I hope!

It is good you are waiting to decide on your next doll since Christmas promotions are coming up and I think it will be good to wait and see what new stuff is coming out. I am also waiting to see what comes out too before replacing Gump with another doll.

We had really nice weather today and I got to go out riding for a bit. How rare we both get good weather at the same time!

Yes, however I spent the day doing housework! There are about 7 guys here in my kitchen right now so I assume that will be pretty messy by morning

Yes, I guess limited dolls will always be more than I care to spend. I certainly do hope that price includes face-up I know I spent $410 for my El - but that was with two face-ups and wig and great outfit and boots. I would be so bummed to spend $500 and still have to buy wig and clothes and shoes.

We were pretty warm yesterday - 59, but today only about 48. Looks to be really nice this weekend though!!

I had a pretty crazy day yesterday myself! Justin had his meeting with the Admissions Director at Westwood College yesterday. It went great and Justin is SOOOOO excited to go there!! It is expensive - so we will be beginning the process of going for student loans. I was reading all about them. There is a man at the college to call who will help us get the ball rolling. It's both scary and exciting all at the same time. I just hope we can get the loans - or this could get tricky trying to afford this private school. I might be putting everything I own up on eBay!!

Eric's car IS the transmission. It would be $900 for one from the junkyard to be installed and twice that for a rebuilt. I just don't want to put that kind of money into this car. I have a bad feeling about this car. So we have decided to look for a car for him. Something around $2500 all together with tax, title transfer etc. like we did with Justin. I am going to get in touch with the same salesman who sold us Justin's car and see what he has. There is a really nice used car dealership about 30 mins. away that has a few on their webside that look good.

So - between trying to get Justin into a new college and Eric a new car - not sure there will be any new dolls in my near future!!

Paula said that Impldoll will be getting new dolls/info up by the end of the month. Can't wait to see if they put up tinys!
