So, are any of you really worried about this Swine Flu? Do you think it is going to get really bad? It is a little scary.

It's very scary and I'm hoping it doesn't get as bad as they think it might. We all have to be a bit more careful.

I stressed to all my daycare kids yesterday that they have to be even more careful about washing their hands and sharing things etc. I wanted to stress it without scaring them too much. Thank goodness there have been no reported cases in Illinois - though I know that can and will probably change

Some people think there is a bit of 'scaremongering' going
on over this. That it is being blown out of all proportion.

But perhaps it's better to err on the side of caution than
to go the other way and do nothing.

Very recent. It was the redheaded boy - not Harry. Sorry, don't watch the movies so don't know all the names. I do love that Emma girl though!

I don't watch them either lol. They are more for the kids really.

Oh I 'm glad Rupert is better. I could just squish him I LOVE HARRY POTTER. the movie , the books , all of it. I'm going to the movie Fri.
I heard today Cheri Blair has H1N! Now. I hope she will be ok. I like her and Tony.

I only read the first book and saw the first movie. I am sure they are quite wonderful. Just never really caught my fancy that much. My kids read the first 4 books and then grew out of them.

Coilin outgrew it too, but I did not! My nephew is older than Colin but he is with me still loves it.

Just watching the celebration of the moonlanding 40 years ago - can you remember what you were doing at the time? (if you were born then - obviously!)
I was 7 years old & they wheeled out the school TV - it was big & wooden on long legs (& in black & white too) Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm...I remember the moon landing but I would rather have been outside playing! Now, to me - it is more mysterious, but for a fidgity 7 year old, I spent most of my time trying to make the other kids laugh,look out the window & only watching the "exciting" bits. Ah well!

Yes, I do remember! Watched it with my folks. I kept looking up at the moon to see if I could see them!! We went to the big parade for them in Chicago!!
