| I do make some breads from scratch. I make a Greek Holiday bread at Easter and Christmas, it's a recipe handed down from my MIL. The recipe makes about 10 loaves! Not to worry, it freezes well, but we give loaves away. Usually, the 10 loaves is not enough, as everyone that has received one wants one every time now. With family members getting their loaf and neighbors and friends getting a loaf, it's usually two batches! It's a slightly sweet with a hint of cinnamon bread, kind of like Hawiian bread. It makes the absolute best toast! |

| Oh we so love Hawaiian bread!! Can you send me a loaf at Christmas? I'd ask for the recipe, but I just don't know that I could do all that kneeding by hand I am so spoiled by my bread maker! _________________ Let's make the most of our time, as long as we're here...

| If I could cut the recipe down enough, I'd like to try it in my bread machine! I keep saying I'll do that, but haven't yet. I've cut the recipe in half and that worked. |

| My dad used to go deer hunting and we had venison and deer sausages all the time. We used to eat rabbit every once in a while when he went rabbit hunting too. Firecracker, if I'm not mistaken, I think heirloom vegetables are vegetables that are from the past, that is, they were around centuries ago. Not the individual vegetable, mind you, just the species. |

| Yes, that is about all I could find out. Not many pictures of them - mostly tomatoes - or list of them or where to buy them. The tomatoes look cool! _________________ Let's make the most of our time, as long as we're here...

| My son has started baking and cooking. He is very good at it. my husband does not cook unless you count grilling. I found some of that rosehip tea at vitacost so my next vitamin order will order some. I don't like licorice at all. Fennel the herb taste just loke licorice to me. I grow it because it is pretty though. |

| I like fennel and it is very pretty. Don't let it go to seed, I had it coming up everywhere! I wasn't fond of licorice tea. One of my sons cooks. Since he is a 'stay at home' daddy, until the kids are both in school, he's taken on quite a bit. He's a very good cook, but then he always showed an interest in cooking. The other son, well, he's happy with just doing the grilling. |
