:silent: (not mentioning the lamb in the oven) Ok..I'm doing roast spuds, roast parsnips,yorkshire pudding & carrots,swede & peas.Lots of gravy & mint sauce..errrrrrr...the mint sauce isn't for the :silent:

About an hour (& YES..I know I'm eating extremely late in the evening!!...well it's late here Wink )
You'll have to bring a pudding though...I don't do sweets !
Cheese & biscuits could be on the menu..i have a reallllllllllllllllllllllllllly nice smoked bavarian cheese with chilli YUM!!

OMG! Chilli on biscuits! Why didn't I ever think to do that! I love biscuits and gravy so why not biscuits and chilli!

Right....well the lamb is off the menu...but giant sheep is on Wink (actually I hate myself for saying that..lol I could turn veggie so easily if I actually "thought" about what I was eating)

Hope you like the parsnips with crispy edges Sky.....only way to eat roast parsnips - with a few burnt edges!

I have never eaten a parsnip in my life Embarassed Not even sure what they look like. I must Google them!

Well, I have to be able to eat chicken, turkey and pork roast. I could easily give up the all beef though oh and LAMB Very Happy

Adrift, you are seriously cracking me up about the giant sheep!!! Laughing
Oh, I'll take my parsnips with extra crispy edges too! YUm!

I am trying a new recipe tonight...Butternut squash and creamed spinach gratin...will let you know how it turns out!

That is so true and the only way to eat them. I actually have a few growing in the garden just waiting for me to pluck them! When they are ready....................

You have to try them FC. As a child I never liked them......I think it was the way they were prepared because I love them now.
