HA!!!! See you are warming to the smoke detector family!!

One Xmas...Mr & Mrs Smoke Detector had been struggling to make a living, too many times being thrown out because of inferior batteries, but always being rescued from the bins by someone using even less effective batteries.Noone knew that baby detectors at home waited patiently for Mom & Dad to come home........one night Beeps,Blinks & Buzz ( the older kids) went out to find their parents...it was Xmas eve, they had brightened up the home with various items, the bulbs thrown out from "fairy lights" that didn't work", the nintendo DS that had been replaced by a nintendo DSI.....& even an old computer with a screen saver of a roaring fire............

HMMMMM maybe I should patent "Drifty World" I'm thinking theme parks, films, toys etc - oh on the other hand, as hard as I worked with my 500 chickens, I could only get them to lay eggs ,I'm thinking that as soon as I walked away from them, they did party tricks.....balancing acts.....juggling....fire eating, but if I looked back they did the "baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawk" & pecked the ground!!!!

For god's sake, it's nearly 2am here now - been to bed once & got so GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR that I got up again (ever been that way?) So drinking Ribena at the mo, trying so hard to unwind & doing the "make believe" conversations for tomorrow, ummmm but these ones contain the word "f*ck* a lot! (No not fack )

Right...ribena drunk (it's a vit c blackcurrant drink btw!!) & for a final de-stress AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I have gone to bed and got back up because I couldn't sleep, but I'm not familiar with Ribena??? Yep 'make believe' conversations will do it everytime. Hint, unless you want solution #1, I don't think I'd use the 'f*ck' tomorrow, go ahead with it tonight though, it will help relieve some of the stress!

Well the confrontation never happened! I had someone with me most of the day from one of the other sites for "training" -which did help as I only ended up with about 2 hours sleep so sat "watching" someone learn & wake me up when they had a problem was maybe a good thing!
Today wasn't any better - losing the whole day yesterday "training" up someone put me even more behind (& to me that is priority)
Soooooooo that's me stewing over it for the weekend - & biding my time again.

So is it time for another Drifty joke? YEAH!

I haven't had trick or treaters in years. I think here they have parties for the kids. When I did have them, I usually got a couple bags of miniature candy bars and gave everyone a handful.
