No. It will be just me and my husband-all our family are in other states. We gave up travelling during the holidays years ago. We cook a mini feast and eat the leftovers for about 4 days after until we can't stand the sight of turkey again for another 6 months! |

| I'm hoping I didn't forget anything! I'll have a small group of 10 adults and 4 children. I did not buy a huge turkey as I don't want a lot of leftovers. |

| I am lucky I don't have to do T-Day, but I have Xmas Eve this year and we always have a ton of different food! I have a major meltdown the day before and the morning of!! But, it always all comes together! We have a lot of people over and there is so much to do what with cleaning, setting all the tables, all the baking, cooking, wrapping presents EEEK!! I am already feeling the pressure!!!!!! Then of course add in the sadness that my Dad won't be sitting at the table to my right and, well bummer. _________________ "You can kinda just be. | We did have a great time........but I'm exhausted and have finally given in to the head cold or sinus, I've not allowed myself to get until AFTER Tday! The food was great, so everyone said..........I never eat much of a meal that I've spent the whole day preparing. |

| I know what you mean Sky! After preparing the food all day, sometimes you just don't have a taste for it, and there isn't time when you are waiting on everyone. I ate my share this year, even if I did spend most of the day preparing it! I have lots of good leftovers to show for it too...that makes it worth all the toiling. Love the new skin FC! |

| Thanks HL! I love it too! Someone just created this one on Tuesday. I will use it for awhile and then use the really gorgeous one a little closer to Christmas! Glad you all had a great day! I envy you your leftovers! That is one thing I miss when we don't have T-Day at our house. That is why I always make us our own little T-Day dinner a week after. So next Saturday we will have our turkey/stuffing dinner! Can't wait! We had a great time yesterday as always, but I can never eat a lot of all that rich food at one time so I don't really feel I get enough turkey and stuffing I get full so fast - especially since we have some goodies before and White Russians! But the weather was great, we enjoyed the drive in my new little baby car, excellent food and company! A close to perfect day - only thing missing was my Dad But we toasted him and shared a few stories about him and he was indeed with us in spirit! I didn't bring my little urn. I had bought my Dad this beautiful deep purple sweater one Xmas. He only wore it a couple of times before he became so sick. My mom gave the boys some of my Dad's beautiful sweaters that are in perfect condition. Eric came downstairs in the beautiful purple sweater yesterday. I just realized that my Dad was with us through my boys and that was all I needed! _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| Oops, Sky - I forgot to mention that I am so sorry that you have a bad cold and I hope that you get better really soon! Glad you were able to hold it off until after T-Day! _________________ "You can kinda just be. Just live your life -- and play." Adam Lambert - OUT mag. |

| Ok....just to show I do have a slightly LESS grinch personality as I portray - I thought I'd put this link up for those with young children/grandchildren (although you may all know it anyway ) Norad tracks Santa at Xmas - so Xmas eve get the kiddies in front of the PC http://www.noradsanta.org/(I'm still a though) |
