I just finished 'A Simple Plan'..............WOW! Thanks so much for suggesting it to me!
I'm now starting on the Sookie Stackhouse series of books. These are the books True Blood has been taken from. |

That Hemmings of Monticello sounds good! I would love to hear a little more about that book. Does it talk about the architecture of Monticello? I am really into architecture.
I am going to start Eat, pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert soon. A fellow foodie friend of mine just gave it to me. Has anyone heard of it? |

| I have seen the book, Eat, Pray, Love but I don't know much about it. The series is sold as a boxed set, but I went off a list inside the first book. Aerwin might know for sure and there is a new book out. | The newest one Dead and Gone is number nine. I've read them all. I love them. Season two of True Blood should be partly based on Living Dead in Dallas. The tv show does vary a bit. Because one character dies in the book and not on the show.I hope the show will go into the weres more. I was happy to find this eries after Anne Rice stopped her vampire series. Have y'all read those? The Hemings Of Monticello is about Thomas Jefferson's realationship with his slave Sally Hemmimgs and their descendants. If you are interested in the reannaissance man Jefferson was there are two great books. American Sphinx by Joesph J Ellis and The Road to Monticello : The Life and Mind of Thomas Jefferson by Kevin J. Hayes. Thomas Jefferson is one of my heroes. I have been to Monticello three times. I have a beautiful print of Jefferson in my dining room. |

| That's just it FC, I don't have a lot of time. I have to read before bed, but I'm usually too tired to get much reading done so it takes me forever sometimes to get a book read because I'm too tired to read for very long........... |

| I don't have time during the day to read. I read at night. I watch no reality tv . none. Only scripted shows, so that leaves a lot of time at night. |

| Aerwin and Sky,Thanks for the info on Thomas Jefferson and the Charlaine Harris series. I will get Dead until Dark and start with that one. I have a vacation coming up in a few weeks and I hope to start two books, that one and the Eat, Live, Pray book. I am bad about starting books, then losing interest. Occasionally one comes along that grabs me so much I have to read it in 2-3 days. I love that when it happens. |
